I just received my copy of Upland Almanac magazine. This is the Spring 06 issue and it contains a very nice news release on the 16ga. Society. Its all positive and even makes you guys sound like experts.

If you haven't seen a copy, Upland Almanac is a very presentable, informative magazine that should be of interest to any of our membership. Take a look. You can find them at www.uplandalmanac.com

Onward and upward, --16ga.

Monitor us from an alien mother ship while slowly taking control of our gun buying minds? (between me and 16GG you should be up to about a 1/2 mind by now!) OH MY Shocked MAYBE IT IS 16GG!

Monitoring you from an alien mother ship is closer to the truth... its not about me ... its about the collective us. I'm not hiding but I'm not 16gg either.

Thanks, and you guys keep up the good work. --16ga.

I say we blackmail our #1 into revealing himself by threatening to start a vicious rumor he is none other than Vice President Dick "boom boom" Chaney.

That ought to flush him out!

I liked it. Although it comes out of Vermont, the articles are all over the map; dove shooting in Virginia, Mearns quail in Mexico and Grouse 101. Bryan Bilinski wrote on The Perfect Game Gun. Lots of dog info.

There's not much risk in looking it over. Their website will get you a sample issue for $6.00.

Nicely made magazine, I used to subscribe when they were the Grouse Point Almanac and the best part was always the recipe page. I kept several issues just for the ways of preparing birds and in fact picked up an Upland Almanac recently for the same reason.

Nice photography, too although that's from a non-expert view.

Finally got around to buying, was impressed, and mailed in my subscription (and thanks for the positive press about the 16g Society-the 'site admin' should be proud about what he's birthed Exclamation )
