How much 16 Gauge ammo do you shoot in one year?

No horse manure real numbers.

I shoot 2,500 to 3,000 16 Gauge loads in a year.

16 gauge is just part of my problem. My 16 Tobin is a low pressure only gun that sees just bluebird weather. I don't abuse my other 16, a mid 1950s Ithaca pump with heavy loads, so it tends to get used for informal clays and early season hunting.
I have other guns to do the "heavy lifting".

Best,
Ted

16's are all I own, but other responsibilities in life keep me from shooting as much as I'd like to. I'm probably in the single case a year group (+/- 250).

I only recently purchased a 16 (Merkel 2016). I view it primarily as a great all-around hunting gun, and will only shoot clays with it to warm up for hunting and as an occasional change of pace. Definitely-Maybe around 2,000 per year is what I anticipate. That figure may sound high for what I described, but when I go to the clays range I usually shoot at least 150; ten trips to the range could easily put me in the neighborhood of 2,000.

I hunt with a 16 gauge, and shoot skeet with a 16 gauge 2 days a week. I go through a case (5000) of the gulandi wads from Grafs in about 15 months just over a year. I shoot a 12 and 20 once in a while, but usually it is one of my 16's

I have a pair of 16 gauge shotguns (Model 12 and Marlin 90) but only use them for bird hunting as hulls are too precious and fragile to use for clay targets. If somebody would come up with a WAA or STS quality 16 ga hull, I would happily shoot clay targets with my 16 ga guns.

I got my first 16 ga in August; since then, I've fired about 200-300 rounds through it.

I have not been a really devout 16 shooter until lately. However, I have good intentions to shoot much more. My first 16 was a LeFever Nitro Special that was the victim of a stock refinishing job from hell. I had it several years and used it occasionally for doves. I probably put 15 rounds a year thru it. In January '08, I acquired a very nice Sportsman 48. I put about 25 rounds thru it at the pattern board and at pheasants. It was a nice piece, but I got tired of hunting my good empties in the weeds. My first love is Doppelbuchsen, so this past January, I traded both the LeFever and the Remington on a CZ Bobwhite 16. I used it on three quail hunts and one pheasant hunt before the end of the season. So far I have shot it at one round of trap and 8 pattern targets, so about 45 rounds so far. My goal is to get in about 5 rounds rounds of sporting clays with the CZ before the upland season. By the way, the CZ makes a lousy trap gun. Its IC/mod rated barrels are throwing skeet/skeet 1 patterns.
