I reciently bought my first 16 ga. It's a Western Field model XNH-560-8A. I would appreciate any information on it that you could give me. To be honest this is my first shotgun of my own.
I chose a 16 ga pump because the first shotgun I ever fired was my grandfathers old 16 pump. This one really reminded me of his and I would like to be able to completely clean it and use it.
Thank you for any info.
Josh

Most of them were built by Mossberg and Savage. Not show girls but very well built and
dependable. Just the way I like them. (Guns & Girls) " More for the money " I have 3 of their shuckers and my son has some friends from tough homes who use them all the time in very high volume trap shooting and they have performed flawlessly.
Welcome to 16ga.com. Some very helpful guys here Very Happy.

It appears there were two 560s; one by Noble, one by Mossberg. If you scroll down there will be XNH 565 made by Noble. Also appears with the XNH prefix are made by Noble.

If I remember correctly Western Field was the name chosen by Montgomery Ward for their line of shotguns.

That's probably a Noble 60. That was my first 16 gauge shotgun. Many years ago. I still have it. Always think maybe I'll fix it up as parts are still available. I wore it out.
