I am looking at Spanish 16 gauges and and have been talking to LCS about ordering a Ugartachea 257 16 ga. from them. Unfortunately, I am too far away to get there to handle one. I read a generally favorable review of a new Ugartachea 16 gauge sidelock but it suggested that the gun was not very lively in its handling. This may be a "your mileage may vary" thing, but I would be interested in hearing whether others here have any experience with this.
I was also looking at the Grade V that LCS is offering but I like the round body of the 257 and am not sure that you get that much more for the extra cost of the Grade V.
Thanks in advance. |
