No thanks Doc. That is about $1500.00 more than I'd pay for a Trojan. |

As I peruse the online auction houses I'm continually amazed by the sheer quantity of used guns offered waaaay above blue book. Often I'll see the same gun offered again and again at well above what the gun is worth -- are these folks just looking for a sucker, or do they really think they'll eventually get what they're asking?
Still, sometimes you can get a bargain. I particularly enjoy looking at the Auction Arms "penny auctions," where guns often go at close to or even below the blue book price. |

Dave,
I agree with you about the Trojan pricing.
I also am finding the number of Sterlingworths pushing the 2k+ range interesting.

Maybe that's why there seems to be more Sterlys around lately. They are going to price themselves out of sales sooner or later.
I know I paid just over $2k in I think Jan or Feb. The gun was a true 96-98% and I thought it was worth it. I know it was a heck of a lot better than some of the ones I've seen lately approaching that number. |

Yeah; Fox's tag line, "a good gun cheap", doesn't really apply anymore ! |
