.
Saw an advertising flyer for another run of 16 gauge Browning Citori shotguns at Bill Hicks.
1-800-223-0702
Models listed on the flyer included 24, 26, and 28 inch models.
Ones with straight English grip and ones with pistol grip
Alloy-framed and steel framed.
Lightning
Gran Lightning
Lightning Feather
Superlight
Superlight Feather
White Lightning
Lightning Grade IV
Lightning Grade VII
Upland Special
I don't know anything more about them except what was on the one page advertising flyer.

I wonder if their firing pin bug-a-boo will be corrected in this model run? |

Didn't figure they would list the sporting clays model. |

I would definitely be interested in a sporting clays model, with 32" barrels. I already have a 28" White Lightning from the last run, and really like it - enough to get another if they make a sporting version! |

A friend loaned me his 20 ga set up that way for a grouse hunt last year. I can say that it was the best-handling shotgun I've ever used in tight quarters and dense brush. |

Surprised the sporting isn't listed. Seems to be a lot of demand for the 525 sporting |

The ones I've seen for sale seem to be about $3-400 higher than a couple years ago. |

Hootch.
To buy from hicks, you have to go through a dealer that has an account with them. Hicks is only wholesale. Any dealer with a FFL can get an account with them. |

Called Bill Hicks. They want $1549 for a white lightning. Gone up a bit since I bought mine. Didn't ask about other models. |

I have owned 1 or 2 of several runs since first offering. I have never had a problem with any that was not due my shabby reloads or simple wear and tear. I shot 1000's of rounds thru #1 and finally had to replace pins and springs as with any Citori. Have had my current SLF (grouse hunter) and G3 (pimped out target and preserve bird gun) for several years with no problems. |

Aside from Gunbroker, does anyone know of a dealer that has a bunch of these new 16's for sale? Looking for a Superlight, or possibly a higher grade. |
