Dang, Mike, does that include Winchester and IMR powders, too? Not a good way to treat the guys that taught some common sense, and for free!
With shortages I like the idea of having suitable selections from each manufacturer, in case only one of them comes through at a time. |

Lately in our area . IMR has been knocking .Hodgdon , 1 load I know of in more than a yr . The trucks pull in and are empty in a day or so . but at least they've been showing up some . Around here , a transport plane could fly in and THAT would be empty in a day or so . Do not like to hoard , have limited space to stash stuff . Have been able to make do with odds and ends for a really long time , so can wait for the goodies if needed . (my BO has been since 8/19 ) |

Big Alliant fan here, with AS and 20/28 socked in back when they were around. I keep HS-6, mostly for use in handgun reloads, but also like it as a substitute for WW540 reloads in 1oz in CF Winchesters. HS-6 seems to make it to the shelves and remain there, or at least get replaced often enough, and 800X has been around---another that works for 1oz. |

Claybuster seems to be quite interested in changing their 7/8 oz 16ga wad to make it 3/4 - 7/8 oz in a cheddite or federal. They have been very responsive to my emails.
When I get samples, I will post photos and info!

That would be awesome. I did use the CB 1 oz wad to load some hunting loads this past season. They loaded 1 oz of 6s at 1400 fps with Longshot and they knocked the birds down for certain. These were in Herters (Cheditte hulls) but they were made and used with in a week. Please let us know what you hear from CBs
Thanks |

Man, that is going to be great, GLoftness. About time for a wad of that capacity with a decent recoil section. Bye bye DR16! |

I emailed Claybusters with the same recommendation, figured it would not hurt to get more comments to them.
They responded the next day with an offer for samples of the 7/8oz wad and seemed interested in my other comments about a new wad better fit for Cheddite hulls. |

Just put in my two cents at Claybuster. |

All diehard 16 gauge reloaders are hoarders
I have been hoarding hulls, wads, primers, powder, etc for so long i have lost track of how much stuff I have. Unfortunately my wife has not.
When you find something you like buy double or triple.
I have just adjusted to the idea that anything good will go out of production. |
