I originally planned on going this year, but it fell through for me. Next time! |

I've made it to 3 Fests, first to work the Gordon Setter booth at Des Moines the other two to participate in the Bird Dog parades when the event rolled back into Iowa and then KC. SDGFP rolled a video of the DM parade and my girl shows up at 1:00 followed by a fellow club member's Irish red and white, Blarney, who is perfectly named. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GGxaYjq1Mto
The booth was a blast, but then how could having people petting dogs and talking about them turn out to be a bad time? The club that had paid for the booth wasn't sure I should bring my red dog for display ("uh, do you also have any black and tans?" "Yeah, got one of those."), but I figured he'd be good for the parade in KC. There was another black/tan in that parade and the speaker got a kick out of my off-color Gordon.
I didn't shop much at any of these, but the Dogtra rep in DM gave me a replacement battery for my 2000T&B. Wound up ultimately sending it in for repair, but he did what he could and was genuinely concerned with the product's performance. |

Was a good time. Got to meet some Breeders for my favorite Breed. Met the Natl Breed Club Folks & looked at some purty guns. Some "eye candy" too (DAVE).
Lots of interesting exhibits. Ran into some other 16ers there.
Was disappointed in one exhibit due to persona; reasons. The "elsie" collectors org had a booth there displaying 410-s, 20 ga, & 12 ga. |

You obviously missed the F Grade 16 gauge hammer gun with 30" steel barrels. They would not trade me for a Glock, which I thought more than fair.

I asked them if they had any 16-s...................
Just as well I didn't see it a I'd have probably drooled on it.
I'd like to make a trade like that!! |
