Remington 3200 four barrel set (currently)
or the
Kreighoff 32 four barrel set
These are the guns that I shoot most days
BUT Tuesday I shot a round of crazy with my GECO and some left over
black powder ammo, you should have heard the squeals when I let off the first pair of shells.
he he he
Mike
p.s. you gotta have pictures if it is your FAVORITE!!!

Once you begin to accumulate guns you find that each has it's own niche and it makes it hard to claim that one is an actual favorite. Before I had gathered much of a collection it was an inherited Fox Sterlingworth 16. |

My favorite is a 16 Ga. #2 AyA loaded with brass hulls. I have shot the AYA for 11 years on many different species of upland birds. The gun weighs 6 lbs. 2 oz., handles perfectly and Annie is seldom disappointed.

The very first scattergun that was ever used by some guy who shot a wild bird on the wing, probably for food, and while holding the tool in one hand and the quarry in the other - he realized "damn" that was fun.....
Actually, I have this clunker Lanber Hunter 12 gauge OU that has accompanied my 9.5 year old brown girl and I and has knocked down a hell of a lotta' wild Montana roosters during that time. It has been retired due to a new Citori Superlight Feather 16, but it is immortalized in my memories and in the many photos of it together with my girl (she's not retired yet). It will never leave my collection before I leave....... |

My favorite shotgun is one that works best for me for the task at hand. My LC Smith is perfect for walking the fields quail and pheasant hunting. My CZ Ringneck gets the call for most of my Sporting Clays tournament duty. Then of course my Model 12 gets used for just about anything. As does the Rem M11. I have to pick a gun according to my mood for the day. |

Some poll. For me it depends on which gauge I intend to use. In 16 its my Uggie Grade 3. |

A nice Parker might sway my vote, if I could afford one! Truth be known, for day in day out use on upland birds my favorite is my well worn Fox Sterlingworth 16. The fancy Lefever 12 is tops when I know I will not likely see a shot all day under 50 yards. For blues and ruffs a 28 bore American Arms Derby has been mighty dear to me for over 15 years. When the chips are down for waterfowl, especially snow geese, the San Marco 10 ga. O/U is irreplaceable. With ducks and geese cupped up close and personal, a Win 23 in 20 ga. is the favorite.
After all of that, the Fox 16 still feels best in my hands. |

Don't be hard on yourself, you did just fine. The problem isn't who initiates a poll, or what questions, guns are to be reviewed.
Polls are absolutely meaningless, and are generally set up to satisfy the thoughts of the pollster.
After almost two years of political polls invading our lives on everything known to mankind, what in the hell did they prove? Absolutely nothing.
But, in the case of the 16ga society, it is a way for members to show off their toys,
which I do enjoy seeing.

I know this is heresy but my favorite (until it gets supplanted) is my Manufrance Ideal 6RE-E 12 gauge. I'm actively scouring France for it's 16 gauge brother.

Gil , I have no Idea who did the work . I bought the gun from a friend of mine and he didn't know either.
Certainly not the best upgrade I have ever seen but it was nicely done .
The gun weighs 6lbs even and fits me really well , I am really am quite pleased with it.

James, I was re-admiring the engraving on your Ideal and I picked out the hare for the first time this a.m. I had not noticed it before. The engraving is amazing and it's as if the engraver deliberately attempted to hide or blend in the dog and prey in the rest of the work so they weren't obvious. Gil |
