fn16,
I wanted to tell ya that is one heck of a stock on that WM Summer and one fine British Best double gun, very few around and simply a fantastic double gun. To find one in 16 is ultra rare in deed. Referring to that fine double gun as a little English gun, is like calling Annie Oakley a nice little lady. Some how it does not discrible the real treasure.
Congrats on owning one fine double gun!

fn16,
Real nice pictures, especially the 2nd one!
Swish,
Yours are great also! Love the dogs and the old M12! Have a 16 Gauge myself, it's a bird killer for sure.

Mike,
Proud picture of your son and his double with Drummer, congrats to him and give Drummer a pat on the head for me!

Gentlemen,
Grouse season is just around the bend, should be some new stuff pretty soon.

While i had an early season warm up at a lovely private preserve, knocking down pheasants left and right, the real season starts for Wingshooter and I a week Monday.
A week in the Nebraska Sandhills for sharpies followed by a week along the north shore of Superior in MN with Fourtrax from this site providing some local knowledge for getting into the ruffies. I expect we should produce a flurry of pics. But only because sometimes I think Wingshooter would rather take pics than hunt. |

Chicago,
I agree with the other men, Drummer is one beautiful tri-color Grouse dog, hunt and treat him well. Simply magnificent Ryman English Setter dog. Lost my Orange Belton Daisy this year to old age, I miss her badly.
