shot 2 rounds at the local range today with my new Browning citori lightning, hit 22 and a 20, very happy with it, its stock except I added a slip on comb and butt pad. it has grade 3 wood and I have been debating if I should cut it up and have an adjustable comb installed, for now going to shoot it as is and see how I do. I do plan on removing the front bead, too shiny. |

Well done
Thanks for sharing
Give the gun a YEAR before any modifications
and then have at it if needed

If ur doing that well them keep shooting the way it is. Conform to the gun. Putting all the fancy adjustments means one thing. Everytime you have a bad day with the gun means it must be an adjustment. Conform to the gun. NO matter what u do to the gun it's always going to shoot in the same path of direction. All u would be doing with adjustments is pointing the gun in a different direction. |

I do want it to shoot in a different direction-I want it to shoot high, for trap. while keeping my head straight and my eyes level, not all cockeyed and crunched over. |

If it's a gun you plan on keeping I say do whatever it takes to make it fit. To loosly paraphrase Col. Townsend Whelen, "Only shotguns that shoot where you look are interesting." |

MORE
What I did was to purchase another stock and have it modified, in that
way the original one was saved for when the gun leaves my hands upon my passing |

A Sharpie or similar black marker might dull that bead enough. |

Mine is 32" 525. It shoots about 60/40
I'm a 50/50 man. But I adjusted to the gun.. I have no problem on games at trap. Even on shootoffs at the back fence. I take my share. I no if I have a bad night it must be the way I'm sitting in the saddle different so to speak. Cause the gun is still doing it's part the same way. I see guys all the time fiddling with adjustments. Different stokes I guess. |

Mines a 32" 525. Shots about 60/40. I'm a 50/50 guy. I just conformned to the gun. I have no trouble at trap games. Take my share of coin. Keep right up at the back fence so to speak. Different strokes for different folks. I just see many guys constantly making adjustments. Seems like the more high dollar these guys put on the guns the more they fiddle. |

Kennedy756,
would you be interested in selling that bead? I lost mine and it just looks weird shooting it with out it. I did shoot a 24 at skeet when I first noticed it, but I still want it on there.
thanks
