Better to stay out of this one, but......
I actually kinda' like Russian Olives, Hungarian Partridge, and Brown Trout.
AS WELL AS
Sharptails, Westslope Cutts, and Whitebark Pine
Republicans on the other hand..........
Guess we have the 16 gauge in common............. |

MTbirder,
Yep I like the Russian Olives, Brown Trout and Pheasants also.
Progressive Democrate Communists I dislike, especially those here in the USA. Trying to undermine our US Republic.

We would have some interesting conversations, wandering the Russian Olives hunting roosters, you and I.

mtbirder,
You bet we would have some great educational conversations while bird hunting in the Russian Olives, and Fly Fishing all over MT also. I am a Constitutional Conservative who believes in the US Constitution and the founding Fathers idea of a free nation.
Belong to both the NRA and the RGS for over 40 years. I have definite idea's on wright and wrong, and understand the difference. Worked with Charlton Heston's NRA Speakers Bureau for many years teaching the founding Fathers legal idea's on the 1st 10 Amendments of the US Constitution.
Fought the Communists in Viet Nam, worked for both President Nixon and President Reagan as a US Army CID Special Agent, and retired as President Reagan left office. I believe President Trump is the best President this country has ever had sense President Reagan.
Have fun bird hunting in MT, I really miss the early season!

Pine Creek/Dave,
If you ever do get "out here" an offer stands for a float on the Madison/Yellowstone/Bighole etc. - I know just a little bit about 'em all
I'm sure we'd find plenty to disagree about, but the fishing will be fine........... |

mtbirder,
If I ever get back out to MT, I will definitely e-mail you and we can fish and argue politics!
Sounds great

If you two "gentlemen" wish to extol your political preferences, please do it via PM, thank you.

Dale,
We discussed no exacting political views, we were talking about hunting and Fly Fishing, and teasing each other about politics.

I do not mind if someone minds that I don't mind speaking my mind.
But I do take offense at being labeled a "gentleman".
I am nothing of the sort - I happen to own a Lanber and two CZ's and one of my dogs is a Lab/Griffon mix...........................
In all seriousness, as a post script......
No apologies from me here.
Sportsmen own 16 gauge shotguns. Many of those sportsmen use those 16's to hunt a wildlife resource on/in various wildlife habitat(s). I have spent the last 33 years of my 55 years working professionally as well as personally to foster, conserve, promote, improve, and protect the aforementioned things.
Nearing the end of the professional side of things - I plan to continue, with more freedom of expression, to do those very things. Including on the world wide web. We American outdoorsmen are blessed beyond belief.....
Social media would do well to be looked at instead as "Socially Responsible Media" - IMNSHO (in my not so humble opinion).
Rant - to those who consider this fairly harmless (as compared to what one can read on other websites) diatribe as such - over...... |
