Gentlemen,
Great pictures keep them coming! Been raining here in our mountains, however the Grouse and Woodcock hunting has been excellent!

Pine Creek Penny our Gordon Grouse Dog is now 14, we just purchased a new Female Gordon pup from Clear Cut Kennels and are awaiting deliver.

Saturday, sunflower field, 16 g. AE Fox w/30" barrels. A limit of doves w/20 shells.

Today after church, about 3:00 p.m. until maybe 5:15 pm. LC Smith 16 ga. w/32" barrels, XFull chokes, HOT. Tougher shooting. Took 22 shells today to get the 15 bird limit. RIO loads of 1 oz. 8s, both days. Big ol' mature birds today. Great sport,

Great pic. Love those Gordon dogs. Glad to see at 14 Penny is still getting it done. Best of luck with the new pup.
From a few weeks ago. Holland & Holland Royal 16 bore and a pair of WC with a French Setter making sure she keeps an eye on things while taking a rest.

Great picture of the French Setter, birds and gun, I loved it!
Penny is slow now but still gets the job done, I do have to be very careful were I take her now.

This is my grandson and his first deer during our youth deer season this week end with a 308 Mossberg patriot youth model, dropped in its tracks. I'll try to post a couple more pics. Thanks to skeettx. |
