Ok
How many 16 ga shotguns do you have and what are they?
I have 1 Stoeger SxS. Im cheap (not that cheap I had only owned Beretta's) and love the Stoeger. It's great for the harsh Texas Hill Country environment. Plus it mounts the same as the Stoeger 12 ga.

I'm up to four now. Just picked up a Model12 a few weeks ago. Also have a Lefever Nitro That I let my nephew and both sons learn with. Was lucky enough to inherit a 94 Stevens from my favorite uncle and my go to gun came from my Grand dad,it's a Utica Sterlingworth. All are a delight to shoot with 1oz. loads . I'm still looking for an Ideal grade Elsie with double triggers at the right price or a hot lookin' red head. Wonder which one I'll find first!!! fullchoke16 |

Ithaca Flues, Fox Sterlingworth extractor, Lefever DS, Fox Sterlingworth ejector and a Dehaan SO that will be here in a couple of days. My next one might be a CZ Bobwhite when they come out unless a Sterlingworth with 26 inch barrels shows up somewhere for sale.

I just love my new Galazan RBL 16 gauge that arrived three days ago.
What a sweet gun.
Nah.......just my twisted sense of humor.
Figured that one would start the longest most fevered pitched thread in history.
Cheers,

Gosh, as a newbie to the group I see I have some catching up to do in the number of 16 gauge guns on hand and most certainly needed.
As I recall there are four Ithaca sxs's, two Remington sxs's, one LC Smith, one drilling, two singles and one Remington Mdl. 11. The Mdl.11 is used to make empty's for the others. There could be others lurking about the place somewhere, probably fraternizing with the other less desirable gauges.
I'm still looking for the right Parker and Lefever ejector gun's. I've even considered one from across the pond from merry old England but, other things like eating keep getting in the way.
Regards from the sunny right side of Oregon, (chukar country) |
